So I am back with another review of Lipstick that is none other than Mac x Charlotte Olympia Lipstick.
I am crazy about lipsticks but extremely crazy for the limited editions that MAC keep coming up with, they are not only different from regular collection but also their packaging is mind blowing. đ
My recent purchase from the collection is MAC x Charlotte Olympia Starlett Scarlet Lipstick. This was the only thing caught my attention of all the items because you might find the other items in MAC´s regular collection if not same but nearly similar to it. I even liked the eye liner in “nearly natural” shade but wasnât sure if the color would be promptly visible on my skin tone so did not find it wise to invest in it.
Something about this edition before I proceed with the review. This limited edition of Mac is inspired and named after Charlotte Olympia Dellal who is a known British shoe and accessory designer.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this lipstick shade, but could not find any lipstick swatch on Indian skin tone. So I thought why not I do a review and swatch on the only product I bought from this Limited edition, which can be helpful to others. đ

Now the MAC x Charlotte Olympia Starlett Scarlet Lipstick review.
MAC x Charlotte Olympia Lipstick is described as a âtrue redâ or “Hollywood red”. Itâs a bright, medium red with neutral-to-warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. The texture has more of the velvety-smooth variety when compared to MAC´s matte finishes. It has mostly opaque coverage that applied smoothly and evenly. This shade lasted for quite a long time on my lips leaving behind a stain, and was non-drying. This lipstick is not as MAC Ruby WOO which really takes a lot of effort to get it on and off as well. The packaging reminds me off old retro style packaging.
I purchased mine from Mac Sweden online, they are available at selected Mac store and Mac Official Website for limited period only.

Rating: 5/5 for smooth texture and packaging.

I would high recommend this lipstick to you if you are looking for a Perfect Red. This is so beautiful that it will look great on every skin tone. I can assure, it looking ravishing on Indian skin tone.
