Chokers in Fashion – The New Rage
Hello Folks!
So I am back with another post and its accessory this time. 🙂
Chokers were rage in 90´s and they are back again with a bang.
Everyone from Celebs to the models on runway to top fashion bloggers have been rocking the super-tight necklace in various widths and various forms—tattoo chokers, metal chokers or those covered with dainty little flowers.
I first spotted Kendall Jenner sporting a choker and later Gigi Hadid. (P.S. I am a big fan of theirs, they are so perfect in my eyes.) Lets not get diverted from our topic. 😀 Since then I fell in love with chokers.
I own a few of them myself. 😉
So I would like to share my reviews on the ones that I own:
- Black Velvet Stone Emblished Choker
This is my utmost favourite. This one is from ZARA. My husband bought it from Switzerland when he was on a Official trip. I found out that they were sold out here in Sweden at Zara store. I love the bling on it. The work on it so intricate and beautiful. I love sporting it on a dress to add more femininity to it. *It’s a set of two chokers, One emblished and one plain*
Can be purchased from Zara
There are few other ones available at H&M as well.
Price: 169sek.
- Asos Faux Leather choker
This choker from River Island is one of my favourite choker. Its so sleek and light weight. I love to pair them up with DENIMs, let it be plain jeans and a top or a plain jeans, tee and a denim jacket.
Can be bought from Asos
Price: 80sek
- Metal Oxidised choker
These Chokers give a Vintage and ethnic look when worn. These are not easily available in the stores. They are versatile and can be paired with anything, casual and as well as Indian ethnic apparels. Can be accessorized like a pro by wearing the choker over a turtleneck.
These can be bought from Ali Express.
Price: 3$
- Plain Black Velvet choker
This is a universal choker in my view and are always one of the chokers in fashion. One can sport it with anything, nothing in specific. This choker being plane can be layered with another necklace as well.
Layer your choker with a long, beaded necklace for a la bohème vibe.
These are easily available in stores or online.
Price: 50sek Approx.
Thats all on Chokers.
Thanks for reading Chokers In Fashion and please do comment which choker and look you liked the most.
Also, how would you sport the chokers.
Take Care you all and Have a great day ahead!
