Hello Folks,
We often refrain from colour blocking dressing when it comes to western, thinking it might look too loud or we might look out of the crowd, I was one among you in that case. But colour blocking dressing – Strong and bold has been in trend for years now.
I always wondered how could models on runway wear such vibrant colors from top to bottom and concluded with the thought that all this looks good on Runway.
But the truth is wearing such vibrant and colour blocking stuffs do look good even in reality.
There are so many combos of colours that go really well, for e.g., Pink and orange, Red and orange, Orange and green, Magenta and purple, pale pink and emerald, blue and brown and so on.
Such color blocking dressing is very common is Indian Ethnic attires, just because we Indians are so colourful and full of life. 😀
Colour Blocking dressing turns ordinary to extraordinary. For us dipping a toe into truly outside-the-box clothing colours, it seems that step one is to pair it with a neutral. We’ll style one fire red piece with black — just black. It’s the beginner’s approach to color play, and it’s a great way to make a statement piece shine. By adding colours, we all could stand to step it up in a big, bold, and rebellious way.
In fact, the idea of “matching” is gone. Instead, we must aim to find two (or three or four) shades that clash and contrast just enough so that every outfit looks intentional, thoughtful, and screw-the-rules cool.
Color Blocking can be worn through clothes or accessories or shoes for eg., Green dress and purple shoes or blue top and brown skirt etc. Colour blocking dressing is very simple all you need to do is be innovative.
I opted for plain orange dress and green sandals and green neckpiece.
Everyone is innovative in one or another way when it comes to dressing. All one need is materialising those innovative thoughts. Thanks for reading, let me know how you liked this look of mine and also your favourite colour blocking shades.
Have a great day you all and Take care.
