Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette

Hope you all are doing great. Festive season is here and what better than using Glitter eyeshadows on the eyes, and Huda beauty Desert Dusk eyeshadow Palette is filled with glittery eyeshadows that you will not be able to take your eyes off from it.

I did a Tutorial using this palette but did not really review it as much as I do with other products because I did not really use it much and reviewing it without much usage would not be right.

So this is second palette from Huda beauty, and to be honest I love this one more than Rose gold palette, its because it has more shimmery and foiled eyeshadows from previous palette.

Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette:

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette:

Comprised of four textures and 18 shades, featuring eight mattes, six “Pressed Pearls,” three “Duo-Chrome Toppers,” and one “Pure Glitter.” this palette is meant to be as versatile as possible. Huda wants people to use it for “day to night looks.”

Making up the bulk of the palette, the eight matte shades range from nudes to purples. They are buttery, easy to blend, and highly pigmented. A new formula from Huda Beauty is pearl, which will give a high shimmer look, adding depth, and intensity. You can use the pearl shades by themselves or layer over the matte colors. The duo-chrome formula mimics the illusions of the desert and all three shadows transform drastically in the light. The glitter shade was created by melding magenta, bronze, and gold together. It’s perfect all over the lid and as a liner.

This palette will be best suited for someone who likes using their shimmers with a dampened brush, fingertips, and/or adhesive base and prefers their mattes to be thinner (and does not care about how they feel in the pan, only about how they perform on the lid).

Mattes:

The Mattes had minimum fallout and ultimately had little fallout after producing looks from this palette. Something I noticed was that while the matte shades looked fairly matte on the lid. The pigmentation varied but most were pigmented and fairly blendable to very blendable.

Pressed Pearls:

The “Pressed Pearls” are supposed to be rich and very pigmented and can be used alone or layered over the mattes.

Duo-Chrome Toppers:

The “Duo-Chrome Toppers” are the colors are designed to shift. Its recommended to blend these into the base shadow with a brush or apply with finger to maximise the reflection.
