Hermes Oran Sandals

Hermes Oran Sandals

Hello Guys!

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Today’s post is about Hermes Oran Sandals in gold. They are actually brown but they are named gold which kind off suits it because these are most famous from all the colours they have and is almost sold out most of the times.

I bought mine from the Hermes website directly.

You might be thinking what’s so Special about this post, I decided to write about it because I wanted to share my experience about the sizing and as well as how to take care of it.

Hermes Oran Sandals Sizing guide

This sandals run true to size. I am normally 37.5 UK and I ordered 37.5 and they fit me fine. Before ordering these I watched a lot of videos and review on sizing and they were all mixed that its run small as well runs true to size. I took my chances and ordered 37.5 and to my luck they fit me fine. YAY 😀

I have pretty narrow feet and they fit me fine. I have had issues with slippers in the past wherein my feet slips forward due to being narrow.

I would advise if you have possibility to try them in store then do that and if you are like me and all you can do is order online then I would advise taking your regular size.

Taking care of your Hermes Oran Sandals

Its always hard to justify that designer shoes can also be an investment just as designer bags because of obvious reason and that is shoes get worn off easily but taking care of them can increase their life and one of them is taking care of the sole because that’s get worn off the most.

Hermes Oran sandals are pretty expensive and I wouldn’t want them to get worn off quite easily and hence I learned this trick from another blogger and ie., get a false rubber sole.

The sole of Hermes Oran Sandals is of leather and it will get worn off easily if not protected and in order to do that I got them soled with rubber sole. This can be done by any cobbler, its gonna cost you a little but trust me its gonna make your footwear last longer and protect the sole too.

I would advise getting this done for any expensive shoes you own to increase the durability and life.

And last not but not least adding this rubber sole gives more stability and grip too.

Hope you enjoyed this post and this will be helpful to you guys as well.

Let me know if you got some tips and tricks as well.

And have a nice weekend. 🙂
